Czech Airlines (CSA) will resume flights between Prague and Yerevan, Armenia, as of October 2.
CSA is restoring this service after five years. Flights to the Armenian capital will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. During the forthcoming winter schedule, CSA will continue to operate scheduled flights to Paris (up to twice a day), Madrid (twice a week) and to more than 20 other destinations serviced by code-share partners.
The flight OK930 will depart from Václav Havel Airport Prague on Monday and Thursday at 1:45 a.m., arriving in Yerevan at 7:20 a.m. local time. The return flight OK931 from Yerevan to Prague will depart at 8:05 local time and arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague at 10:15.
“Demand for air travel from Armenia to Europe, including the Czech Republic, is showing an upward trend, which is why we have decided to restore the Prague-Yerevan service,” says Jan Tóth, Director Commerce, Alliances & Marketing at Czech Airlines. “At the same time, the popularity of Transcaucasian destinations has also grown among Czech travelers in recent years, so we believe that they, too, will welcome the return of CSA flights to Yerevan.”
Flight tickets are now available in all distribution channels. Clients can purchase flight tickets on the Czech Airlines and Smartwings websites and by travel agents.
The scheduled CSA flights between Prague and Yerevan will offer passengers from Armenia onward CSA connections to Paris, Madrid, and other destinations.
CSA (1923) will celebrate its 100th anniversary on October 6. The company is one of the five oldest airlines in the world. CSA is a founding member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and has been a member of the global airline alliance SkyTeam since 2001.
