If you have previously contacted Czech Airlines and you are not satisfied with the assessment of your complaint, you have the right to seek an out-of-court settlement through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. Duty of Passenger Personal Data Submission

To improve borderline control and increase the country safety, pursuant to Article 68, Chapter 3 of Act No. 49/1997, Coll., on Civil Aviation, as amended, air carriers are obliged to submit to the Directorate of the Czech Republic Foreign Police data on passengers transported from countries listed in the respective Directive on the Residence of Foreigners in the Czech Republic. As a result, the following data is submitted to the Directorate of the Czech Republic Foreign Police:

  • Name (names) and Surname
  • Date, Month and Year of Birth
  • Citizenship
  • Travel Document Type and Number
  • Place of Entry of the Czech Republic
  • Place of Commencement of Transport

In addition, in line with legal requirements of the below-listed states focused on improvements to border controls and increases to safety, for the purpose of securing entry permits, personal data of passengers travelling to Ukraine, Russia, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates are provided in the following scope:

  • Name and Surname
  • Date, Month and Year of Birth
  • Citizenship
  • Travel Document Type and Number
  • Place of Entry of the Country
  • Place of Commencement of the Journey
