We are introducing new on-board measures to keep air travel safe during the coronavirus pandemic. As of Friday, 5 March 2021, passengers will be allowed to board Czech Airlines and Smartwings planes to and from the Czech Republic only with a written certificate (in digital or paper format) of a negative antigen (rapid) or RT-PCR test from an accredited laboratory. The antigen test must be carried out no more than 24 hours and the RT-PCR test no more than 72 hours prior to boarding. Apart from that, passengers will need to meet all the criteria for entry to the respective destination country.

In accordance with measures of the Czech Ministry of Health in effect from 25 February 2021, all passengers over the age of 15 must wear a respirator without an exhalation valve and with at least 95% filtration efficiency under the current standards (e.g. FFP2/KN 95) or similar equipment that fulfills at least all the technical conditions and requirements (for the product) of ČSN EN 14683+AC prior to boarding Smartwings and Czech Airlines aircraft and to wear it for the entire flight. No other respiratory protective equipment is permitted.

Change for transfer passengers at Václav Havel Airport Prague
Passengers arriving at Terminal 1, i.e., from a country outside the Schengen area, and continuing on a connecting flight from Terminal 2, i.e., to a Schengen area country, must pass through passport control in the arrival hall of Terminal 1 and then continue through the public part of the airport to Terminal 2 for a connecting flight.
Passport control in the airport transit zone at the transition from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 will be closed until further notice for operational reasons.
Passengers arriving at Terminal 2 with a connecting flight from Terminal 1 can pass through passport control in the airport transit zone.

Change of CABIN BAGGAGE Rules for Departures from Germany
Based on the decision of the German Federal Police, in order to ensure the best protection of passengers and staff during security checks at airports, it is possible to carry ONLY ONE PIECE OF CABIN BAGGAGE UPON DEPARTURES FROM GERMANY, i.e. either a cabin bag or a small personal bag. Please make sure you do not have these prohibited items either on your person or in your carry-on baggage.
In cases where your ticket price tariff allows you to carry more than one piece of cabin baggage free of charge, you can check another piece of cabin baggage free of charge to be transported as checked baggage.
This new policy also applies to transit passengers who pass security checks at airports in Germany.

Wear Face Masks at Frankfurt Airport
If you are flying from/to Frankfurt, please do not forget to cover your nose and mouth with protective equipment (a face mask) at the airport. This obligation applies to the premises of terminals, shops, restaurants (excluding drinking and eating) and airport means of transport. Children under the age of six and people who cannot have airways blocked for health or psychological reasons are subject to exemption.

Travellers aged 12 and over, who arrives on Belgian territory from the red zone and who does not have a main residence in Belgium, must have a negative Covid-19 test result. The test certificate itself should include date and time of test: must be maximum 72 hours before arrival in the Belgian territory. In the absence of a negative test result proof, the airline is obligated to refuse boarding.
All passengers travelling to Belgian territory need to complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) regardless of their departure point and nationality. This is possible as from 48h before boarding the flight.
The PLF must be completed online, where the passenger will obtain a QR code receipt to be presented at check-in and/or boarding. Only persons who are technically unable to fill in the electronic form will be allowed to use the paper form - filled out and handed over before boarding.
Passengers failing to submit this form or providing misleading and incomplete information will be denied boarding.
Effective from 10th November 2020, payments for extra baggage, overweight baggage or other additional services at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) are only possible by credit card. Cash payments are not accepted.
As of 12 September 2020, only people who meet the criteria listed here are allowed entry to Denmark.
From 21 December 2020, Denmark is included among the red countries. Therefore, persons travelling from Denmark to the Czech Republic must undergo an RT-PCR test for SARS CoV-2 or quarantine upon arrival.
All passengers heading to Spain must complete the registration form available here or in the free app SPAIN TRAVEL HEALTH-SpTH before departure. After registration, passengers will receive a QR code, which they will present upon arrival.
From 23 November 2020, passengers travelling to Spain must submit a confirmation of a negative PCR test for SARS CoV-2 taken within no more than 72 hours prior to arrival.
Passengers who fail to present the confirmation on arrival, will be tested at the airport and may be subject to a financial penalty.

Before the trip, review the new measures applied by the Icelandic government to enter the territory of Iceland.
The Icelandic authorities require all arriving passengers to undergo quarantine. All passengers traveling to Iceland are required to fill out a pre-registration form before arrival, which includes their contact information, address during their quarantine in Iceland and a declaration of health. Children born 2005 or later are exempt from pre-registration, testing and quarantine related to travel. Quarantine duration after arrival is 14 days but by undergoing a test for COVID-19 on arrival to Iceland and again after 5 days, this period may be shortened (see covid.is for details). A fee is charged for the test, payable on registration or at the border when the first sample is collected. The 2nd test is included in this charge.

From 8 October 2020, passengers must submit a confirmation of a negative SARS CoV-2 test not older than 72 hours before entering Italy.

Negative rapid antigen-test mandatory per January 23rd 2021 0:01 LT. In addition to the mandatory negative PCR-test results, the test-declaration, the health declaration the government adds a mandatory COVID-19 negative rapid antigen-test to the spectrum of test that need to be carried out for air travel to The Netherlands. This test is also mandatory for transfer/transit passengers. The COVID-19 rapid antigen-test must performed within 4 hours prior to departure.
All passengers on flights to Amsterdam are requested to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure due to the obligation to undergo an antigen test before departure. For more details, see here.
