On Tuesday, 31 March 2020, Smartwings has a repatriation flight scheduled for the MFA from Chicago (the U.S.A.). The aircraft with Czech citizens on board will land in Prague on Wednesday, 1 April 2020.

Based on its agreement with the Ministry, the Smartwings Group has already performed repatriation flights from the Philippines, Cuba, Panama, Honduras, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Costa Rica, the Canary Islands and Egypt.

The Smartwings Group is prepared to send its aircraft abroad again and perform additional flights should the need arise.
