A phytopathological certificate from the country of origin is required for the import of cut flowers, fruit, etc. In addition, all imported plants are subject to a phytopathological inspection upon their arrival to the place of destination.
An import licence, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, is required for plants imported for further reproduction (with the exception of cacti and seeds in their original packages).
The import of sea products and pond fry for private purpose is not permitted.
